Pastor Stephen Hambidge and his family
have been with us at Holy Trinity since 1994. He previously served in
churches in northern Alberta and southwestern Ontario.
Stephen grew up on the north coast of
British Columbia in a place that recorded over 100 inches of rain a year, so
he's quite happy to be living in a dryer Alberta climate. After completing
a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Victoria, Stephen moved to
Nottingham, England for three years where he did his theological studies.
He enjoyed his time in England, particularly because it was at St. John's
College in Nottingham that Stephen met Mandy. The two of them were married
in 1989 and now have two children, Rachel and Joel.
Stephen's interests include sports
(he'll even still admit that he's a Vancouver Canucks fan!), photography and
computers. He enjoys preaching and teaching and loves to see people coming
to an awareness that God loves them.
