How do I try and book a room in the church? |
Important*** In order to try and book a room, you have to remember to
do two things.
1. Add Church Bookings as a participant for your event.
2. In the Full Description part of an item entry, be sure to indicate
clearly what space your event will be using. (i.e. for a band
practice, you would at the end of the description "Where: Main Room" on it's
own line so the church secretary will know what space is unavailable during
that tie period. The church secretary will inform you if there are any
conflicts with your request at which point you can make a change to your
entry.) |

How do I make an entry visible to more users than just my minisrty?
(i.e. I'm a Band member and I'd like for a Band practice
I add to show up for Sheila so she can know the
church is booked.) |
Once you have clicked the "Add New Entry" button either in the corner of the
day in question, or at the bottom of the page, you will notice that at the
top of the page, there is a "Participants" tab. Click this tab and in
that tab click the "Select..." button to select all the users you would like
this entry to visible to. These people will only be able to see and
read the entry, they will not be able to edit it. |

What are assistants in the "Admin" area? |
Assistants can be set to help you manage the Calendar. We ask that you
don't remove anyone from the assistant list if they are already there.
If someone is made your assistant, they can edit and create new entries in
your calendar. This can be handy. For example, if Anthony is an
assistant to the Band user's calendar, he can then add items to that
calendar without having to log in as a band member. |
